Does DaaZ Offer Refunds?

At DaaZ, transparency is at the core of how we operate. Because domain names are unique digital assets, we follow a strict no-refund policy once a transaction is completed.

Why Refunds Are Not Possible:

1. Digital Nature of Domains

   
   

   • Unlike physical goods, domain names are intangible and cannot be “returned” once transferred or secured.

   • Once the seller hands over the domain to DaaZ, they expect payment without delay.

2. Immediate Payouts to Sellers

   • Sellers may be paid as soon as they transfer the domain to DaaZ.

   • This means reversing a transaction would leave both the seller and the marketplace exposed to financial risk.

3. Transaction Costs

   • Every payment processed through Stripe, PayPal, Wise, or bank transfer incurs non-reversible transaction costs (average ~4.5%).

   • Refunding would not only reverse the sale but also add unnecessary losses, which are commercially unsustainable.

4. Buyer Protection Already in Place

• Instead of refunds, DaaZ ensures 100% buyer protection by only paying the seller once the domain is secured.

• If the seller fails to hand over the domain, they are not paid - giving buyers complete security.

Limited Liability

The maximum liability of DaaZ in any transaction is limited to the success fee earned by DaaZ, minus payment processing costs. This ensures fair business continuity while still protecting buyers from fraud.

Important to Note for Buyers:

• Once you agree to purchase a domain and payment is made, the sale is final and non-reversible.

• If a buyer fails to claim a domain within the allowed period (30 days), no refunds are issued, and DaaZ will not renew the domain on their behalf.

• For Lease-to-Own agreements, if payments are missed, the lease may be cancelled, and past instalments are non-refundable.

Conclusion:
Refunds are not offered at DaaZ because of the unique nature of domain names and the immediate obligations to sellers. However, our buyer protection process ensures you always receive the domain you paid for, or your funds remain safe until the seller delivers.
