What Are Service/Success Fees?

A service (or success) fee is the commission DaaZ charges only when your domain name is successfully sold or transferred through our platform. There are no upfront listing fees or hidden costs. If your domain doesn’t sell, you pay nothing.

Fee Structure

  • Buy Now (BIN) – 9%
    If you list your domain at a fixed price, and a buyer purchases instantly, we charge a 9% fee.


  • Make an Offer – 9%
    For negotiated deals where buyers and sellers agree on a final price, the fee remains 9%.


  • Auction – 9%
    Domains sold through our auction system also carry a 9% success fee.

  • Lease-to-Own (LTO) – 9%
    For installment-based purchases, DaaZ charges 9% of the agreed domain price.

  • DaaZ Secure – 5%
    If you’ve already agreed on a deal outside DaaZ but use our secure service to complete the transaction, the fee is only 5%.

Example Calculation

  • If your domain sells for $5,000 via BIN, the success fee is $450 (9%).

  • If you close a $10,000 deal via DaaZ Secure, the fee is just $500 (5%).

Minimum Success Fee Policy:

A minimum success fee of 10 applies based on the currency in which the domain name is listed:

  • USD listings: minimum success fee of 10 USD
  • EUR listings: minimum success fee of 10 EUR
  • GBP listings: minimum success fee of 10 GBP
