Buying a domain name at DaaZ is a straightforward and transparent process. Once your payment is confirmed, we coordinate with the seller and guide you through every step until you gain full control of your new digital asset.
Here’s what happens after you buy a domain:
Payment Verification
Once you make a payment, DaaZ verifies it through our secure payment gateways.
This usually takes a few minutes to a few hours, depending on the method used (Stripe, PayPal, Wise, or bank transfer).
Seller Handover
After the payment is verified, the seller is instructed to transfer the domain to DaaZ.
Sellers are expected to complete this step promptly, as they may be paid once the handover is confirmed.
Domain Transfer to Buyer
Once DaaZ secures the domain, we immediately begin assisting you with gaining control.
If the seller and buyer use the same registrar, this may happen within hours.
If the domain needs to be moved to a different registrar, the transfer may take 1–7 calendar days depending on registrar policies.
In case of a registrar lock (e.g., within 60 days of initial registration), the domain will be delivered to you via an internal account change at the seller’s registrar. You will still have full usage rights, and once the lock expires, you can transfer it to your preferred registrar.
Final Confirmation
Once you have access to the domain in your account, DaaZ will consider the transaction successfully completed.
Our team is available to guide you through any technical steps if needed.
Important to Note:
Once the seller has handed over the domain to DaaZ and payment is released, the process cannot be reversed.
Buyers must claim the domain within the allowed timeline (30 days).
At DaaZ, we take care of the technical and administrative steps so you can focus on using your new domain for your business, project, or brand.
